Turkey Cocktail

Savory, yet satisfying

Om nom nom nom.

Mmmmmmmmmmm nothing better than thanksgiving dinner, but for those of you who want (need?) to drink that dinner- I've got the cocktail just for you! I mean let's face it, the holidays can be stressful, the shopping can be exhausting (and dangerous!) and sometimes you just need a drink to help take on all the craziness.

Plenty of room in a studio apartment!

To make a turkey feast you usually need a a big kitchen. To make a Turkey cocktail, you only need a shaker and a few ingredients! Turkey bourbon (for obvious reasons) then I made a fully seasoned simple syrup with all the the ingredients I would use on a normal turkey: rosemary, sage, thyme, and some spices. After combining the bourbon and simple syrup, I topped it off with apple cider. This is a super savoury drink and I think takes the place of turkey quite nicely. And if it's not turkey-enough for you: garnish it with a turkey leg, or Cornish game hen!
